A new type of wireless ammitometer is in the works that will provide users with the ability to determine the distance to an object by measuring the distance between the antenna and the object.
While most wireless ammounters will provide a range of meters, the new type will provide range readings on the order of meters.
The new system is being developed by a company called Misfit Networks.
It’s not clear if the company is working on a similar product, or if it’s a spinoff of another company called Microtech.
But its a very interesting development that will give users a new way to measure distances without the need to connect to a range analyzer.
The system will also be able to tell the distance in millimeters, which will help in locating objects.
The device will be able read up to a 1-meter-wide object, which is a pretty large area to measure.
It will also work with the company’s own sensor technology, which uses the radio frequency (RF) signal of an antenna to measure the distance.
“The goal of this system is to give you a very accurate range, and with the Misfits proprietary technology, we are able to provide range reading in meters.
We’re able to deliver a range reading of up to 1 meter,” said Micah Schiller, the president of Micah Networks.
“So the range of the device is quite accurate, and that’s a big deal.”
Misfit says the new system will be available in 2018.
